Nine Indian sponsored Khwarij killed in Malakand operation

Nine Indian sponsored Khwarij were killed and eight others apprehended during a joint intelligence based operation in Malakand District.
According to ISPR, the joint operation was conducted by the Security Forces along with Police, Levies, Counter Terrorism Department and District Administration in Malakand District, on reported presence of Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij. The operation concluded on Sunday.
During the conduct of operation, spread over four days, own forces skillfully surrounded and effectively engaged the Khwarij location.
Two hideouts used by Khwarij were also busted and a large quantity of weapons ammunition and explosives was recovered.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to the State’s counter terrorism efforts.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan, in step with the nation, are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to the Pakistan Army, Police, Levies, Counter-Terrorism Department, and district administration for the successful joint operation against the terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij in Malakand district.
In a statement, he commended the security forces and allied institutions for neutralizing nine terrorists during the successful operation.
Shehbaz Sharif said this operation is a prime example of excellent coordination between various agencies. He affirmed that the entire nation stands united with the security forces in the war against terrorism.
The Prime Minister reiterated his firm resolve to eliminate all forms of terrorism from the country.
