PM instructs Mohsin Naqvi to initiate Gwadar Safe City project

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday instructed Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi to initiate the Gwadar Safe City project without delay. During their meeting, the interior minister also briefed the premier on the newly formulated policy for pilgrims traveling to holy sites in Iran and Iraq.
In response, the prime minister directed the aviation ministry to arrange special flights to facilitate the pilgrims.
The minister also briefed PM Shehbaz on the law and order situation in Balochistan.
Earlier, during his visit to Quetta, the interior minister visited the headquarters of FC Balochistan North.
FC IG Major General Abid Mazhar, on the occasion, introduced Naqvi to the officers.
The minister visited the memorial of martyrs, laid a floral wreath there and offered Fatiha.
He paid rich tributes to the martyred officers for their sacrifices in the war against terror.
He also praised the Force for its role in the maintenance of law and order in Balochistan.
Naqvi said that the FC played a key role in foiling the designs of the Fitnatul Hindustan terrorists.
