Gilgit-Baltistan Rescuers Invited to Islamabad by PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has invited heroes of Gilgit-Baltistan, who saved 300 lives, to Islamabad. Wasit Khan, Ansar, and Muhammad Khan have been invited to Islamabad on the directive of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. 

In recognition of their efforts to warn local communities in Gilgit-Baltistan about a potential Glacial Lake Outburst Flood and save hundreds of lives, Shehbaz Sharif will honor them with a special award. Declaring Wasit Khan, Ansar, and Muhammad Khan as national heroes, the Prime Minister said they have set a remarkable example of duty and responsibility. He added that he, along with the entire nation, is proud of these heroes from Gilgit-Baltistan.
