Interior Minister Naqvi stresses foolproof security for Muharram

Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has stressed on foolproof security arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haraam to thwart nefarious designs of anti-state elements.

He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Wendesday to review arrangements in connection with Ashura.

The Minister directed for maintaining close coordination with religious scholars from all schools of thought to maintain peace and harmony.

Mohsin Naqvi said there would be zero tolerance against inflammatory content and social media will be strictly monitored.

He emphasized on the use of modern technology for the surveillance of Majalis and processions.
