PM Shehbaz congratulates Lt Gen (R) Muhammad Saeed on appointment as WAPDA Chairman
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday congratulated Lieutenant General (Retired) Muhammad Saeed on his appointment as Chairman of the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA), expressing confidence in his leadership to steer the organization’s vital role in national development.
During a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Shehbaz lauded the newly appointed chairman’s distinguished military career and emphasized his belief in Saeed’s capacity to bring professionalism and commitment to WAPDA.
“I am hopeful that Lt Gen (R) Muhammad Saeed will perform his duties with excellence and help advance WAPDA’s critical role in the country’s development,” the Prime Minister remarked.
The appointment was recently approved by the federal cabinet. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar also attended the meeting.
