PM Shehbaz Sharif Meets Global Leaders at SCO Summit Reception

On Sunday, Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif attended a reception in Tianjin for world leaders participating in the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Heads of State Council meeting. During the event, he engaged with other international leaders, discussing regional cooperation, economic partnerships, and key global political and trade issues.

Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed Prime Minister Sharif and leaders of other countries.

The Prime Minister held informal meetings with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

And President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of the Maldives Mohamed Muizzu and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

The Prime Minister was the centre of attention of the world leaders who showed exceptional warmth to him.

The closeness seen in these meetings is a reflection of the brotherly and friendly relations between Pakistan and these countries.
