Punjab government imposes social media ban on its employees

In order to prevent government employees from criticizing the government policies, the Punjab government on Thursday imposed a ban on the use of social media by them.

In this connection, letters were dispatched to all government employees.

The provincial government barred its employees from using TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.

It also barred them from posting comments on social media.

Likewise, it also banned the sharing of posts by its employees.

Now the government can no longer post comments that could endanger national security, law and order situation and violate morality.
